Here are your answers compared to this voter’s answers.
Healthcare › COVID Mask Mandate
H>H Personal answerNo |
Social › LGBT Adoption Rights
H>H Personal answerNo, and sem-sex (by birth) couples should not be able to adopt children, and neither should anyone else who is not a born-man and a born-woman who are married. (No single people, either) |
Social › Abortion
H>H Personal answerPro-life, but allow in cases of rape, incest, or danger to the mother or child. These quotes from Mother Teresa sum up my feelings about it: "Please don't kill the child. I want the child. Please give me the child. I am willing to accept any child who would be aborted, and to give that child to a married couple who will love the child, and be loved by the child." "Any country that accepts abortion, is not teaching its people to love, but to use any violence to get what it wants." "It is a poverty to decide that a child must die so that you may live as you wish." "The so-called right to abortion [...] has portrayed the greatest of gifts -- a child -- as a competitor, an intrusion, and an inconvenience. It has nominally accorded mothers unfettered dominion over the independent lives of their physically dependent sons and daughters" And, in granting this unconscionable power, it has exposed many women to unjust and selfish demands from their husbands or other sexual partners. Human rights are not a privilege conferred by government. They are every human being's entitlement by virtue of his humanity. The right to life does not depend, and must not be declared to be contingent, on the pleasure of anyone else, not even a parent or a sovereign." "But I feel that the greatest destroyer of peace today is abortion, because it is a war against the child - a direct killing of the innocent child - murder by the mother herself. And if we accept that a mother can kill even her own child, how can we tell other people not to kill one another? How do we persuade a woman not to have an abortion? As always, we must persuade her with love, and we remind ourselves that love means to be willing to give until it hurts. Jesus gave even his life to love us. So the mother who is thinking of abortion, should be helped to love - that is, to give until it hurts her plans, or her free time, to respect the life of her child. The father of that child, whoever he is, must also give until it hurts." |
Healthcare › Stay At Home Order
H>H Personal answerNo, but people who know they have coronavirus should be required to stay at home, be given extra assistance if needed, and be charged for negligent manslaughter or something similar if they disobey and it results in someone's death. |
Domestic Policy › Trump Impeachment
H>H Personal answerYes |
Social › Gay Marriage
H>H Personal answerNo, allow civil unions but don’t call it marriage |
the Economy › Equal Pay
H>H Personal answerNo, there are too many other variables such as education, experience, tenure, and negotiation skills that determine a fair salary, and the government should never determine what a private business should pay employees, except for minimum wage |
Domestic Policy › Gun Control
H>H Personal answerYes and no. End the gun show loophole. Do not require a course for a license to own a gun, or else it will be limited by income, time (doctors may be too booked to class the class, for example), and supply of teachers and spaces in each class. No discrimination on a religious basis. Even Muslim terrorists are likely to lie about their religion or get a gun illegally anyway. Make sure it is possible for people with mental health issues to get it, provided that their condition is controlled well enough. People who have gone to a mental hospital before should not be disqualified from having a gun, as long as their condition is controlled well enough now. Otherwise, many people who need a mental hospital will not go, and many who needed it because of overwhelm from temporary and possible unusual circumstances, such as abuse, will not be allowed to have it when they are perfectly able. 3D printing of guns should be legal for those who qualify for a gun. I'd support adding gun use to the required high school curriculum, using fake bullets. The government should pass laws that help people not be restricted from using their gun when in danger. Really, I think the govenerment should appoint a team of experts to make decisions regarding gun laws. Perhaps experts on psychology, sociology, gun political science, political psychology, ethics, philosophy, the Constitution, law, and research evaluation. That way they can consider all angles of each decision and evaluate research to see what research is good and thus can be used for decision making or not. |
Crime › Police Body Cameras
H>H Personal answerYes, this will protect the safety and rights of police officers and citizens |
Social › Marital Rape
H>H Personal answerYes |
Domestic Policy › Insurrection Act
H>H Personal answerNo, the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878, prohibits the military from conducting law-enforcement |
Healthcare › Drug Price Regulation
H>H Personal answerYes, it should be limited on a case-by-case basis to determine how much is reasonable, if rewards the creators enough, and allows research to continue, balanced with making sure those who need it can get it within reason. |
Elections › 2020 US Presidential Election Legitimacy
H>H Personal answerNo, fraud was clear, from people covering windows, to not letting in a members of the opposite party to watch for fraud, to using unapproved and vulnerable software, avoiding investigations, agrresive media saying "no evidence" when even a little evidence is some evidence, and forensic analysis of ballots and of what time ballots were submitted. Plus congress voted to approve Biden because of a whitehouse riot, rather than for what they believed was true. The overnight rise in Biden's votes on election night is unprecedented and thus more than suspicious. |
Domestic Policy › COVID-19 School Closures
H>H Personal answerYes |
Healthcare › Pre-Existing Conditions
H>H Personal answerDepends on the condition. If it's a condition that you don’t have control over, then no, but if the condition is caused by bad eating habits or smoking that you had control over, then yes. |
Social › Gun Buyback
H>H Personal answerNo, this is a violation of the 2nd amendment |
Social › Gender Transition
H>H Personal answerNo, children should not be allowed to make irreversible life decisions. And ban all gender transitioning treatments. |
Social › Gender Identity
H>H Personal answerYes, except in jobs where gender identity matters. For example, a gay man shouldn't see boys naked in non-medical environments. And if the behavior they choose, rather than simply the orientation they don't get to choose, interferes with their ability to perform all aspects of their job fully, then they can be discriminated against. For example, an openly and clearly gay man working as a server af a restraunt may make customers feel uncomfortable. In this case it is their behavior, not directly their orientation, that can be discriminated against. I think I should be discriminated against for my religion if I choose to say that my religion means I can proselyte freely to unwilling customers. |
Healthcare › Masks on Public Transportation
H>H Personal answerNo, let the public transportation companies decide that. And masks shouldn't be mandated unless the government gives people with low-income free or affordable masks. |
Healthcare › Stay-At-Home Order
H>H Personal answerKill as few as possible. Make sure people can support themselves. Be wise. I don't know the best way to be done. Maybe crowdfund giving everyone a mask of sufficient filtering. Make a deal with the hand sanitizer companies and such to help more people get access to it. Educate people on what they should be doing to avoid Corona, rather than just what they could be doing. People could be supported while not having their old jobs by being taught how to make a living online. This would mean that we'd have fewer workers afterwards though, because more people would be online instead. The government could crowdsource solutions to problems, such as how fast food restraunts can function without employees. Perhaps imagine that you are looking at the situation as if you are in the future and reading about history. To have felt with it responsibly, what do you imagine the leader did? Whatever it is, if it is admirable, do it. |
Healthcare › Mental Health
H>H Personal answerYes |
Social › Religious Freedom Act
H>H Personal answerYes |
Social › Transgender Athletes
H>H Personal answerNo, athletes should compete based on the biological sex that is listed on their birth certificate |
Immigration › Muslim Immigrant Ban
H>H Personal answerNo |
Social › Planned Parenthood Funding
H>H Personal answerYes. As long as funding is not used for abortions besides for rape, incest, and danger to the mother, and if it is for rape, it should not be after a certain amount of time. |
the Economy › Minimum Wage
H>H Personal answerYes, make it a living wage and adjust it according to inflation regularly enough to keep it a living wage. Perhaps enough to make $24k a year when working full time. I've heard of many people happily living on $7k per year despite having much more (even being rich). However, this does require some time to aquire skills for DIY. So $24k may be more reasonable for people without those skills. |
Domestic Policy › Armed Teachers
H>H Personal answerYes, if they are trained and have a reliable way to ensure the gun does not end up in the wrong hands yet is easy enough to access. |
the Environment › Climate Change
H>H Personal answerYes, and provide more incentives for alternative energy production |
the Economy › Paid Sick Leave
H>H Personal answerYes |
Domestic Policy › Drug Policy
H>H Personal answerNo, we should not decriminalize drugs, except under supervision of a medical professional, and we should I clude mental health education in schools to teach alternatives to calming yourself with drugs like marijuana. |
the Economy › Taxes
H>H Personal answerReform to a flat tax, or a flat tax for income after poverty level, and raise poverty level to the amount of money needed for a reasonable standard of living for someone with average financial literacy. Teach financial literacy in school. The lowest income I can consistently find people online living comfortably with is $7k, with some DIY skills. |
Domestic Policy › Term Limits
H>H Personal answerWhatever the Constitution says. It is an inspired document for our government. |
Foreign Policy › Iran
H>H Personal answerNo, the U.S. should encourage Iran to disarm through diplomatic channels |
Foreign Policy › Mandatory Military Service
H>H Personal answerNo |
Domestic Policy › Muslim Surveillance
H>H Personal answerNo, but they should make strides to help Muslims know that terrorism is against their religion, build Peaceful Muslim support groups (where peaceful Muslims can support other peaceful Muslims), and continue online surveillance to look for signs of terrorist plans. They may also have undercover groups claiming to support terrorism, in order to find people, both Muslim and non-Muslim, who support terrorism. |
Social › Racial Sensitivity Training
H>H Personal answerThey should check the current subconscious and conscious racism of each person and require training only if needed. Otherwise, "color blind" people will be reminded that people are acutely aware of the difference in color, and will become more conscious of it and thus less color blind. I know from experience, as my colorblindness was temporarily tainted by being taught critical race theory. |
Elections › Foreign Lobbying
H>H Personal answerNo, foreign interests should not be able to buy the influence of our politicians |
Education › Critical Race Theory in K-12 Education
H>H Personal answerNo, kids should be raised to be racially color blind instead of being taught they are inherently racist or disadvantaged based on the color of their skin |
Education › Free College for All
H>H Personal answerNo, this will plunge us further toward socialism and/or communism. They can get scholarships, grants, a job during the semester like my parents did, and a summer job, to pay for it. |
Immigration › Immigration
H>H Personal answerDetermine what age a child can move at and still consider the new place they live in to be "home" by the time they grow up, and then if the child grows from toddlerhood on to then, they can be citizens, but otherwise they must be deported with their families. Probably 10 years old would be when they are too old to be deported. |
Education › Student Loans
H>H Personal answerNo, set a flat tax which will inevitable actually charge the rich a higher percent compared to what they need and will automatically charge the poor less. As for loans, it's not a crime for a bank to follow through with the agreement students made with them. However, debt is awful, so anything we can do to help is great. Use crowdsourcing/crowdfunding (voluntary donations and aid) to decrease student debt, rather than using taxes (involuntary donations and aid). |
Immigration › Deporting Criminal Immigrants
H>H Personal answerYes, as long as it is safe for them to return to their country |
Social › Death Penalty
H>H Personal answerYes, but only with euthanasia that kills instantly. |
Healthcare › Marijuana
H>H Personal answerYes, but only for medical use |
Elections › Mail In Ballot
H>H Personal answerNo, this is even easier to commit voter fraud with than electronic means. Do it electronically. |
Social › Hate Speech
H>H Personal answerYes, because I don’t trust the government to define the boundaries of hate speech, and people say stupid things and shouldn't have the government get involved for it. Encouraging violence should be regulated, but not expressing hate. |
Social › Government Mandates
H>H Personal answerYes, but only for medical conditions such as PMDD. Not for sex outside of marriage between a born man and born woman. |
Social › Confederate Flag
H>H Personal answerYes, but only at historical monuments where it was originally flown |
Domestic Policy › No-Fly List Gun Control
H>H Personal answerNo. The no-fly list does not only include violent people. There have been people put on the no-fly list simply for being Christian missionaries. It is worked out later by lawyers, but the fact that this happens shows that making no-fly equal no-gun expands opportunity for discrimination. |
Domestic Policy › Supreme Court Reform
H>H Personal answerNo |
Domestic Policy › NSA Domestic Surveillance
H>H Personal answerYes |
Domestic Policy › Gerrymandering
H>H Personal answerYes, gerrymandering gives an unfair advantage to the party in power during redistricting |
Social › Women in Combat
H>H Personal answerYes, preventing women from serving in combat roles is discriminatory, but they should still have to meet the same requirements, and should not be drafted into combat roles. They should also be offered free birth control to prevent problems from rape by enemies. |
Immigration › Illegal Immigrant Detainment
H>H Personal answerYes, seport all illegal immigrants, after giving them access to a free online course or book on how to not be poor nor in danger where they're from. |
Science › Mandatory Vaccinations
H>H Personal answerNo, but use third party funding to raise awareness that vaccines aren't bad. |
Healthcare › Medicaid
H>H Personal answerRegardless, everybody needs to know how to spend less money while still living well. Perhaps all people reveieing government aid should be required to take a quiz on finances, take a course if their quiz score is too low, and manage their finances with certain criteria to ensure they are only getting as much help as they really need. |
Domestic Policy › Social Media Regulation
H>H Personal answerNo, then they'll get rid of mentions of religion. They shouldn't be allowed to determine what is fake or real news. Plus it would have prevented the Ranch Dressing Poptarts prank. |
Crime › Qualified Immunity for Police
H>H Personal answerYes |
Immigration › Border Security
H>H Personal answerIncrease and decrease. If they will help the country more than hurt it, let them in. If they need it for human rights reasons, let them in. But make it even harder for bad people to get in or out. |
Crime › Private Prisons
H>H Personal answerYes, but prisons should be standardized and reformed according to available research on reforming prisoners. |
Social › Gender Workplace Diversity
H>H Personal answerNo, board members should be the most qualified regardless of gender |
Immigration › Immigration Healthcare
H>H Personal answerYes, but only for life threatening emergencies or infectious diseases, and we should deport all illegal immigrants, ensuring families stay together, are given food, water, shelter, and good temperature in the meantime, and make it speedy so it isn't long and drawn out. |
the Environment › Alternative Energy
H>H Personal answerYes, the government should support more sustainable energy technologies |
Immigration › Sanctuary Cities
H>H Personal answerNo, and we should ban the use of sanctuary cities |
Elections › Campaign Finance
H>H Personal answerNo, if an organization is given a lot of money for political opinions, it is like a vote and should be allowed to use it to fund political change. |
Foreign Policy › Israel Boycott
H>H Personal answerNo, this is a violation of free speech |
Healthcare › Single-Payer Healthcare
H>H Personal answerYes, but people should be allowed to opt out. |
Elections › Voter Fraud
H>H Personal answerYes, and automatically register every citizen to vote when they turn 18. |
Immigration › Immigrant Laborers
H>H Personal answerNo, deport all illegal immigrants, after giving them access to a free online course or book on how to not be poor nor in danger where they're from. |
the Environment › Alaska Wildlife Refuge
H>H Personal answerNo. Drilling makes it hard for birds to hear and each other and their young. Saying yes to this would open the door to doing the safe with other places meant for "refuge." If they want to do it, then it should be in a location not officially called a refuge, and it should start when the birds have migrated away, so that they do not have young and then have the drilling start and not be able to communicate. If it is there before they get back, then they will find somewhere else to live and not be as likely to have that problem. |
the Economy › Corporate Tax
H>H Personal answerFlat tax it and continue to offer tax incentives for things that help the economy (in ethical ways), provided that they ultimately make us more money |
Foreign Policy › Foreign Elections
H>H Personal answerYes, but only to protect the country from human rights violations by a tyrannical ruler |
Social › Safe Spaces
H>H Personal answerNo, safe spaces should be for people with PTSD, but for people who simply disagree or are offended by something else. Regardless, schools should allow exemptions from certain activities that are against a person's religion. For example, it is against my religion to watch sex scenes on movies. So school should be required to allow exemptions from watching those scenes for class. Etc. |
Domestic Policy › Patriot Act
H>H Personal answerNo, and pass strict laws prohibiting government surveillance without probable cause and a warrant |
Healthcare › COVID Employment Health Pass
H>H Personal answerNo |
the Economy › Government Spending
H>H Personal answerYes. I fancy the idea of the government hiring professionals to evaluate spending regularly to require government funds be used as efficiently as possible/practical. Eliminate non-vital costs we cannot yet afford, even if they could be part of an ideal world. We must work our way up to a better world wisely, and that means getting out of debt as much as possible. |
Elections › Minimum Voting Age
H>H Personal answerNo. I believe that the writers of the Constitution were divinely inspired (I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints). I personally believe (not a church opinion or anything. My own) that the reason they said only land-owning men should vote was to prevent the uneducated from making bad voting decisions. While I believe that women and non-property owners should be allowed to vote, I think it is wise to find a way to preserve the original intent. So perhaps voters should be required to pass a basic test demonstrating their understanding of politics in order to vote. This should NOT include calling certain OPINIONS right or wrong. |
Foreign Policy › Israel
H>H Personal answerYes |
Foreign Policy › NATO
H>H Personal answerNo, not until other countries increase their financial contributions |
Immigration › Border Wall
H>H Personal answerYes |
Immigration › Immigrant Assimilation
H>H Personal answerYes |
Domestic Policy › Net Neutrality
H>H Personal answerNo |
Crime › Defunding the Police
H>H Personal answerPolice should still exist for violent crimes and crimes where people are likely to be willing to be violent, such as robbery. We should take all the steps we reasonably can to prevent people from becoming criminals, as well as preventing crime. We could prevent people from becoming criminals by strengthening the family, such as by making some forms of “discipline” illegal that have been proven by many, many quality studies to have negative long-term effects. We can also include a mandatory “Family” class in public compulsory education to teach the essentials of parenting for the best outcomes in children and for happy and successful marriages, which are the basis and foundation of good parenting. The education and welfare systems can also be improved. We can prevent crime from people who chose to be criminals anyways in many ways. One way is to make sure all law-abiding (background checked), trained, safe citizens can have a gun and ammo. Other jobs should be created to take care of non-violent crimes previously addressed by cops. Cops should also get anti-discrimination training. Research shows that this is possible. Cops should be trained in this until they show that enough or all bias has been trained out before interacting with people in those minorities. Complaints against cops should also be taken very seriously, and investigated as a high priority, and local stations should not be afraid to fire officers for gross negligence. Those who commit negligence but not gross negligence should be retrained in the thing they violated and be put on probation. It would also be helpful for cops to build relationships with the community, or at least know who everyone is, so that they are virtually 0% likely to shoot someone they think is violent, who actually called 911 for help. In fact, police should be trained on how to safely apprehend violent criminals without killing them if possible, to further prevent unnecessary killing. |
Domestic Policy › Gun Liability
H>H Personal answerNo, manufacturers and dealers should only be held liable for negligence |
Social › First Amendment
H>H Personal answerNo, we need Heavenly Father's and Jesus' support. |
Healthcare › Medicaid Work Requirement
H>H Personal answerYes, unless they are not capable within reason. |
Domestic Policy › Congressional ban on stock trading
H>H Personal answerYes, but with strict protections against insider trading |
Elections › Right of Foreigners to Vote
H>H Personal answerNo, only legal citizens should be allowed to vote |
Crime › Solitary Confinement for Juveniles
H>H Personal answerYes, and ban it for adults, too |
Social › Niqāb
H>H Personal answerYes, it is a religious right. Plus, if they are being that clear that they are Muslim, they clearly aren't going to be a terrorist. Everyone will be watching them with that suspicion, so they wouldn't be able to get away with it. |
Social › Euthanasia
H>H Personal answerNo, but they should be allowed to refuse artificial life support |
Immigration › Citizenship Test
H>H Personal answerYes, but it should only cover very basic and simple topics |
Crime › Mandatory minimum prison sentences
H>H Personal answerNo, and prisons should be reformed to reform prisoners. Give non-violent offenders work to do that they can use once they get out of prison, and have them live with and work for a family that is a good example to them. Their time is done after 7 years. |
Immigration › Skilled Immigrants
H>H Personal answerIncrease |
Domestic Policy › Affirmative Action
H>H Personal answerYes, but not on a race basis. Rather, on an income basis. Or some other scale that accounts for people who make a decent income only by working overtime, or who do not get to live a lifestyle expected of that income, such as if they have a lot of kids to provide for or have big health expenses. The point of affirmative action is to make all races equal, making up for the inequality perpetuated by generations due to the only recent desegregation laws. (My grandparents lived through that, it is so new.) But affirmative action only helps if it is helping the minorities who need it. All people are equally valuable, so other races should be included as well, as their equality will be equally beneficial to our society and to them individually. Also, to gain equality, we should improve education. Especially simple and significant would be adding finances to the common core to teach budgeting, finance psychology, investing, and entrepreneurship. |
the Economy › Corporate Mega Mergers
H>H Personal answerYes, and the government should break up existing mega corporations |
Healthcare › Medicare Drug Prices
H>H Personal answerYes |
Healthcare › Safe Haven
H>H Personal answerNo, but they should not be put in a normal prison if they are willing to be rehabilitated. |
Healthcare › Vaccine Mandates for Customers
H>H Personal answerYes |
the Economy › Universal Basic Income
H>H Personal answerNo, this will encourage people not to work, harm economic growth, give the government more power, increase national debt, and let the communists finish taking over (especially the politicians) |
the Economy › Welfare
H>H Personal answerMore. We should raise the minimum wage to a beginner's living wage and only provide welfare to those who are incapable of working and for up to 6 months in between jobs. People with repairable conditions should be actively getting treatment and doing all that they can to support themselves. The government should find ways besides direct funding from the government to help people get treatment when they can't afford it. For example, they can ask people to donate to charity, do crowdsourcing and crowdfunding, and hire a paid or unpaid (volunteer) worker to find ways to make money for the person, such as through GoFundMe. |
Domestic Policy › Flag Burning
H>H Personal answerYes, this is an act meant to signify aggression, which, in insignificant amount of cases, will escalate to worse things in the future, and it may cause fires. We should maintain at least some semblance of patriotism required. Because if they hate the country, then they are not loyal to it, and are likely to commit treason, which is rightfully punishable by death to prevent the overthrow and collapse of the government. |
Crime › Demilitarize the Police
H>H Personal answerYes |
the Economy › Free Tax Filing
H>H Personal answerYes, but they should partner with TurboTax. |
the Economy › Economic Stimulus
H>H Personal answerContinue to provide welfare for those who need it, and only provide economic stimulus in ways that will ultimately not increase our national debt. |
the Economy › Welfare Drug Testing
H>H Personal answerYes, and the government should require treatment, which will be paid for by the person paying what they can and the government finding a way to pay for the rest in ways other than directly funding it themselves. Terminate benefits where necessary. |
the Economy › Labor Unions
H>H Personal answerHelp, except with teacher tenure. |
Foreign Policy › Soleimani
H>H Personal answerYes |
Elections › Campaign Finance
H>H Personal answerNo, but allow donations from unions and non-profits |
the Environment › Dakota Access Pipeline
H>H Personal answerYes |
the Economy › Capital Gains Tax
H>H Personal answerRegardless, it should be taxed as much as other income, and other income should be taxed no more than 10% |
Healthcare › World Health Organization
H>H Personal answerNo |
Immigration › In-State Tuition
H>H Personal answerNo. Once they are discovered, they should be sent home, unless they were born here and are under the age of 10. But we should consider offering a free online course or a book on how to not be poor nor in danger where they are from/ how to fulfill their needs. |
Education › Common Core
H>H Personal answerNo, schools should teach life skills and soft skills, not stuff that won't significantly enhance their life. School should be made according to cutting edge research on learning, and if they do that, then kids will love school, and more will be able to be done in less time, which means more time for family and developing their own unique skills and passions. Standardized testing should also be modified so that there is no high stakes testing, and so teachers don't teach to the test. It should be mastery based and use small quizzes to ensure they are ready to move on. We should also add parenting, marriage happiness, home economics, and financial literacy to the common core. |
the Environment › Oil Drilling
H>H Personal answerYes, we should be energy independent and continue to encourage green alternatives |
Domestic Policy › Whistleblower Protection
H>H Personal answerYes |
Foreign Policy › Yemen
H>H Personal answerNo |
Foreign Policy › United Nations
H>H Personal answerYes, and use the U.N. peacekeeping forces to protect our interests |
Foreign Policy › Afghanistan
H>H Personal answerYes, the war has been going on for so long that it sounds stupid now. We're not getting anywhere. |
Healthcare › Obamacare
H>H Personal answerYes, I support a majority of the plan but not all aspects |
Elections › Candidate Transparency
H>H Personal answerNo, I would respect them more if they did but they shouldn’t be required to |
the Environment › Fracking
H>H Personal answerNo |
Elections › Lobbyists
H>H Personal answerNo, they should be afforded equal rights to be involved citizens as everybody else. |
the Economy › Overtime Pay
H>H Personal answerYes, and all employees should be paid time-and-a-half for overtime hours regardless of their pay scale |
Elections › Electoral College
H>H Personal answerNo |
Domestic Policy › Eminent Domain
H>H Personal answerYes, but only in extreme cases of national emergency |
Foreign Policy › Military Spending
H>H Personal answerIncrease, and better prioritize mental health. Often, military members' psychiatrists are told not to diagnose them with conditions they have, because then the government would be required to pay to help them with the disorder, and the budget isn't big enough for that. |
Crime › Collective Bargaining
H>H Personal answerNo |
Science › Nuclear Energy
H>H Personal answerYes, measures have been taken so it is now one of the safest sources of energy. |
the Environment › Animal Testing
H>H Personal answerYes, but not for cosmetics |
Crime › Drug Trafficking Penalties
H>H Personal answerNo |
Foreign Policy › Torture
H>H Personal answerNo, torture is inhumane, unethical, and violates the 8th amendment |
Foreign Policy › North Korea Military Strikes
H>H Personal answerNo, we must use every diplomatic option first |
Elections › Criminal Politicians
H>H Personal answerYes, as long as it was not a felony, violent, financial, or sexual crime |
Foreign Policy › Foreign Aid
H>H Personal answerDecrease as much as needed to prioritize our own needs. We don't want to be so stretched thin that we are easy pickings. |
Foreign Policy › ISIS Ground Troops
H>H Personal answerNo, conduct targeted airstrikes instead |
Healthcare › VA Privatization
H>H Personal answerMore |
Education › School Vouchers
H>H Personal answerYes, because it encourages improvement due to competition between schools, helps lower income kids have better education, and lets the not-low-income kids have equal opportunity by having vouchers, too. We also need to improve our schools. Rather than funding them with local income taxes, which gives less funding to poor areas, schools should get funding from taxes from the entire country, and be made to reach equal standards. Fix the problem of teacher tenure preventing people from firing terrible teachers. |
Foreign Policy › Drones
H>H Personal answerYes, but only kill terrorists if they are proven terrorists, not just suspected terrorists. |
Science › GMO Labels
H>H Personal answerNo, don't increase government power in this sector. |
Healthcare › Vaccine Passports
H>H Personal answerYes |
Foreign Policy › Taliban Financial Aid
H>H Personal answerNo |
Crime › Prison Overcrowding
H>H Personal answerNo, this violates the Amendment about doing trial twice. They should keep the sentence they got. But I approve of alternatives such as house arrest, and I certainly approve of training community service, given there are no opportunities for child abuse, stealing, etc. |
Housing › Homeless Encampments
H>H Personal answerYes |
Education › Universal Pre-K
H>H Personal answerYes, because it will be free daycare for the poor and can help them do better in school and thus be less likely to perpetuate poverty over the generations. However, compulsory education should not start until 7 years old, like in Finland, as this corresponds with child development milestones which indicate that the first 6 years of life are most important and are best spent with parents (loving parents). |
Transportation › Public Transportation
H>H Personal answerNo, and we should privatize more public transportation services |
Domestic Policy › Social Security
H>H Personal answerNo, abolish social security. Social security is a pyramid scheme that is coming to dire straits from lower numbers of young people to pay for higher numbers of elderly people. It should be abolished. |
Education › Charter Schools
H>H Personal answerYes |
Foreign Policy › Ukraine and Nato
H>H Personal answerYes, if they're willing to follow all its rules |
the Economy › Estate Tax
H>H Personal answerYes, and we should eliminate it |
Immigration › Dual Citizenship
H>H Personal answerYes, but only with allied countries. |
the Environment › Plastic Product Ban
H>H Personal answerNo, but increase tax incentives for companies that make biodegradable products |
Crime › Criminal Voting Rights
H>H Personal answerYes, but only after completing their sentences and parole/probation. Until then, they have forfeited their rights by breaking the law, and should not be allowed to vote if they are willing to hurt the country like that. |
National Security › Military Congressional Approval
H>H Personal answerNo |
Foreign Policy › Terrorism
H>H Personal answerNo, they are not U.S. citizens and do not have constitutional rights, but they should not be subject to torture. We should do what one successful info-getter did by befriending the prisoners, going on walks with them, and soon these soldiers who were trained to withstand torture were sharing secret info by accident. |
the Economy › Four-day Workweek
H>H Personal answerLet's see what happens in the other countries and then experiment with it if it is worth it. It is worth it if it increases GDP and/or significantly improves mental health and family ties. |
the Environment › Paris Climate Agreement
H>H Personal answerYes, until there is equality (but not necessarily equity) |
the Economy › Tech Monopolies
H>H Personal answerYes |
