Here are your answers compared to this voter’s answers.
Social › LGBT Adoption Rights
JL>JL Personal answerYes, as long as they pass the same background checks as straight couples |
Social › Abortion
JL>JL Personal answerPro-life, but allow in cases of danger to the mother and where the child has a 0% chance of survival, or is already dead. If there's even a slight chance of the child surviving, then we need to find another way. We should also allow easier access to contraceptives, such as birth control and the morning-after pill, and abstinence classes to reduce unwanted pregnancies. Those that have unwanted pregnancies need love and affection more than ever and we should be more sensitive to how they feel, we should remind them that they're strong enough to get through this. And once they give birth, if they still don't feel cut out for it. They can give the baby to a nice family that's looking to adopt, maybe a gay/lesbian couple, or some other family that can't have kids, one that won't abuse him/her. I believe that everyone is born for a reason, however I do agree that no one should be forced into pregnancy, but no one should be forced to miscarry either! Safe abortion is bad enough, but let's say the mother decides to keep the baby or even wanted to be pregnant, beating, blackmailing, or even killing her just to murder whatever is growing in her body because you don't approve is beyond horrible. This is the same as child murder and the perpetrator should be shown no mercy. Even so, if you're thinking about getting an abortion, don't. Get some therapy or support from a loved one. |
