Sorry, I didn't realise you had such a profound and irrational faith in human nature as to think it's unhealthy to question the motives of power holders, nor such a profound ignorance of history as to think that it would be extraordinary for such conspiratorial activities to have occurred. But apparently you do. Hate to burst your bubble, but history is littered with examples of power holders covertly doing EXTREMELY shady things not unlike this killing – take JFK's assassination, for example – WHY DO WE STILL NOT HAVE THE TRUTH? It's not dangerous or irrationa…  Read more

And we should also doubt our doubts, let’s think here. If they wanted to pass the bill in congress, how best would they do it? They’d talk directly to the legislators in congress itself, they’d intentionally make the border worse, which has not happened recently as border restrictions have increased. They’d be pleading their case about Ukraine or gaining public support for Ukraine spending via dark money ad campaigns, but none of the easier or more subtle options are being used, so it’s likely that something as indirect and pointless as killing someone we advocate for would be a good way to make the bill pass.

I'm not saying the neocon congressmen themselves are directly involved, it was likely a CIA asset or something. It could have been a Ukrainian asset. We simply don't know. But I do know that powerful forces and powerful self-interests are involved in this, and the stakes could not be higher. That's why I explore such dark possibilities with courage and rational analysis.

We both do in that respect, just on near polar opposite sides. I have much suspicion of the US government, especially the CIA, but my main critiques lie with Russia due to their long and reliable track record of lies and corruption that transcends our government’s own issues.

Then why did you feel the need to protest me saying that someone had to start talking about dark possibilities? Why did you use Ad Hominem attacks on it as a "conspiracy theory"? If we agree that these things should be examined, then let them be examined without badmouthing those who examine them!
