Someone had to blast an unproven and likely false conspiracy theory. President’s and legislators don’t have the kind of power, even when implied, to use an extrajudicial killing to force a bill into fruition. There’s no proof for that.

Sorry, I didn't realise you had such a profound and irrational faith in human nature as to think it's unhealthy to question the motives of power holders, nor such a profound ignorance of history as to think that it would be extraordinary for such conspiratorial activities to have occurred. But apparently you do. And we should also doubt our doubts, let’s think here. If they wanted to pass the bill in congress, how best would they do it? They’d talk directly to the legislators in congress itself, they’d intentionally make the border worse, which has not happened recently as border restrictions have increased. They’d be pleading their case about Ukraine or gaining public support for Ukraine spending via dark money ad campaigns, but none of the easier or more subtle options are being used, so it’s likely that something as indirect and pointless as killing someone we advocate for would be a good way to make the bill pass.
