Tax Reform is needed, but it should be to abolish the private tax service sector, making taxes easier and less expensive for all citizens and allowing citizens to do taxes without having to resort to experts to do their taxes.
Loopholes in the tax code that allows multi-billion dollar corporations to recieve tax returns without actually paying any taxes must be fixed, and in exchange for support, corporate taxes should be lowered. Self-employment tax codes should be reformed to be income-based. Taxes should not be so high on the wealthy, but they should still remain higher than on the middle and lower classes.
How taxes are used should also be redistributed to allow for more equal funding for important services such as the schools, which are almost exclusively funded by property taxes - which contributes to the rich/poor divide.
