The second amendment is there for a reason. Our founding fathers made this amendment because the British Government became too powerful and our citizens did not have weapons to protect themselves. If we are armed we can protect ourselves in our homes and in circumstances where the government exceeds its power and needs to be overthrown or revolutionized.

Finally, a pro-gun enthusiast. I support all guns, what is the Second Amendment there for after all? People should have the right to own guns, and it should not be taken away by people who have never fired a firearm before or have no experience with self-defense and home security.

The 2nd amendment is to protect all others and secure the rights provided in them if our government were to ever become tyrannical. Our first responsibility as the people of this country is to make sure the values written in the constitution are upheld and those in power are held accountable to them.

Protecting gun rights is the most important thing an American citizen can do, and the US government should play zero role in the purchase of weapons including guns, knifes, etc. regulations that are currently applied to guns should be dropped and anyone 18 years of age and older should be able to purchase a weapon and carry it freely.

we should not ban or restrict guns to our loyal us people. we should only put restrictions for those that have a criminal record or are mentally ill.
