I am not sure they should know who is armed, but that teachers at the school are armed

It might be one, it might be all. Someone trained and able to provide on-site rapid response is the best deterrent a school can have.

Teachers should never be armed, because they would never be able to keep the wepon somewhere thats both safe and acessible enough toi matter. This will only increase shootings.
