Nuclear energy does not equal nukes, it didn't for most of the time that technology even existed, and you can thank Einstein and Oppenheimer for that. Nuclear energy isn't the issue, nukes are, and we can ban those on the international scale with actual strong rules, but nuclear energy is necessary.
