Some vaccines that children have taken have shown negative effects, like lowering testosterone or other hormones in their future, making their adult life a lot harder than those who did not receive the vaccine. So while vaccines for preventable diseases are a good idea they should not be mandatory for every child, and we should not force parents to have their children get vaccines they don’t feel comfortable giving their child.

I feel as though certain vaccines should be enforced. Not only for the safety of the child but for the family and their surroundings. Those whom may be allergic should be given an alternative, so they can still be able to prevent getting a disease.
@9GMFNL56mos6MO
I believe most vaccines should be mandatory, as they can prevent easily preventable deadly diseases from taking their toll on a child.
@9GMX7SX6mos6MO
I feel that they are there for a reason. Yes they may cause some issues but it’s better than getting a terrible disease when there was a vaccination or a chance of not getting it.
@9GMF83L6mos6MO
Vaccines are meant to prevent a human from contracting certain diseases and illnesses. When you don't vaccinate your child you aren't only endangering them but endangering yourself.
@9GRHB6Y6mos6MO
A single child that goes unvaccinated can cause the spread of the disease to multiple children, this is how pandemics happen. Every child, unless allergic to the vaccine, should be vaccinated against all preventable diseases until there are new ways that are proven effective to be used instead of vaccines.
@9GMGL8N6mos6MO
If the only issue is the vaccine lowering your hormones, you can take some supplements. Of course, I think some higher-risk vaccines should not be mandated and people should make educated choices on that vaccine.
We need to save lives. There adult lives we be much harder with polio or chickenpox than low testosterone. We could also bring back these deadly diseases because some people don’t want their children to get a little sick possibly endangering the whole world.
@9GMFXBWPeace and Freedom6mos6MO
Although it might make their lives as adults harder, having your children be able to live that long would be more important. By getting the vaccine, you are preventing diseases that could otherwise kill off children before they even make it to adulthood.

This type of thinking can be abused as a loop-hole by anti-vaxxers that do not have peer-reviewed, legitimate studies to back up their claims. This anti-science rhetoric is dangerous for the entire U.S. population and will cause children and adults to die early from preventable illnesses. Even if vaccines caused hormonal imbalances in children, modern medicine has a plethora of hormonal therapy available to assist those who may develop a rare hormonal imbalance, vaccine-related or not. Ethically speaking, most people would rather have a manageable medical condition like a hormonal imbalance… Read more

Many diseases are contagious and we cannot risk the safety of all children for a select few that merely "don't feel comfortable" with protecting their child from disastrous infections.
@9GNQB3F6mos6MO
The Vaccine should still be mandated even though it does have some negative effects because what is the point of worrying about a child's hormones when they won't even be alive since the young have more of a chance to die.
If vaccines have SCIENTIFICALLY BACKED negative side effects, then they should not be required for children until they are safe for them, however once it is safe for them to take the vaccine, it should be required.
@9GMJMCG6mos6MO
they should be given those mandatory vaccinations because without them, they could endanger their surrounding peers and superiors
@9GMFYYV6mos6MO
Vaccines have been tested and each one does have different affect on the child but the need for general welfare.
@9GMG954Republican6mos6MO
i do not support vaccines and i think it should be up to the parent on what vaccines their own child should and should not get
@9GMG69F6mos6MO
I 100% agree with this, vaccines should not be mandatory and it should be the free will of the indiviaduals to choose whether or not they get vaccinated or not. People who don't agree have a right to their opinion but should not haze those who do. The vaccine overall has done a lot of harm and its making was rushed.
@9GPX8R5Peace and Freedom 6mos6MO
Even though it is situated among populations that could be affected, it is in need to understand that not all protocols call for the same elevated results, which does affected some individuals, so it is in need to consider that most factors go into causes and affects to the vaccines as they should be given to those who are well taken care of and are not affected into the negative status of it.
@9GN6QF46mos6MO
Your life style should only affect you. When you start forcing others to engage with your religion you are encroaching on their rights to not believe in that religion. Vaccines being mandatory is not the same, as you not vaccinating may harm others.
@9GR4JVT6mos6MO
Its better for the lingering effects of known degrees then to have children be infected with an unknown virus that could do god knows what
@9GQ82SS6mos6MO
However, while these side effects are possibilities, health comes first because the prevention of these diseases can prolong life spans in the long run.
@9GMFJ3D6mos6MO
many kids will get extremely sick form the disease that these kids choose not go get vaccinated for and could even cause death to the kid.

I stand by mandatory vaccinations except for COVID-19. Now that it is not considered a major problem, I should not be forced to choose between my job or getting a pointless vaccination with possible negative effects.
