Should there be more restrictions on the current process of purchasing a gun?
No, and the government should pass a national “stand your ground” law
The people and the guns are not the problem, says the Republican. The guns and the people who use them are the problem, says the Democrat. So if we can't teach a gun not to fire at another person when the diehard Republican goes off his rocker. We have to step back and look at who is buying the gun. Hence the people are the problem. Because guns don't fire by themselves, people shoot them. The constitution states we have the right to bear arms. Having a registration and license does not violate the Constitution. Oh you disagree? The Constitution states(Amend 14, S1) we have freedom of travel. But yet, we all have a driver license and register our vehicles. Back in a time with the wild frontier, everyone carried a gun, single shot. Then fast forward to a 6-shooter. If anyone got careless, then many could take them out. But think if everyone today carried a gun or even AR15? Road rage, supermarkets, concerts, sporting events, etc. Just because you rooted for the Seahawks against the Cowboys you were shot dead in your seat holding a beer with your son next to you. Who was also shot. To have peace and order, some restrictions have to be in place that will not violate the constitution.
