Should there be more restrictions on the current process of purchasing a gun?

This is more of a state issue. Some national laws should be kept or added such as preventing the sale to felons and those ill as well as military-grade weapons but otherwise, this should probably be left to state to decide.

I agree with you that there should be more state autonomy when it comes to gun laws. In fact, many states have implemented their own regulations on top of federal laws. For example, in Texas, a concealed handgun license is required to carry a handgun in public. Do you think that states should have more or less power when it comes to regulating guns?
