Critics Race Theory, the study of how race impacts the writing and interprets of law, is only taught at the collegiate and graduate level. If you are asking about teaching race in schools, I think it is a valid lens through which to examine history, as long as it is used with other lenses like politics, religion, science, culture, and economics. The 1619 Project views history ONLY through a racial lens, make it unfit for overview classes in elementary and high school (although it could be beneficial for a semester long class at the collegiate level). History needs to be viewed through all lenses, so race should neither be omitted nor be the only one.
