for people who make $1,000,000-$10,000,000 a year including capital gains other than real estate the bracket on their income and capital gains should be 55%, for people who make $10,000,000-$1,000,000,000 including all capital gains the tax bracket on the income and capital gains should be 70%, for incomes and capital gains $1,000,000,000 and more the tax bracket on their capital gains should be 85%, and unrealized capital gains from the stock market should also be included as capital gains, billionaires should face a 3% net worth tax, millionaires should face a 0.1% net worth tax, and for people under the poverty level the bracket should be cut to 8%. The corporate tax rate should for small businesses be 35% if they use fossil fuels and 32% if they use renewable energy, and for big corporations it should be 60% if they use fossil fuels and 40% if they use renewable energy, and when nobody uses fossil fuels anymore it should be 33.5% for small businesses and 50% for large corporations. Of the money raised by these taxes half should go to the green new deal and half to the national debt. If the capital gains don’t fit into this scale, they should be taxed at 31.5%.
