There is a total (that I am aware of) of 7 texts in the bible that are often cited by Christians to condemn homosexuality. It is common people are unaware of this. Since the version of the bible most common is a translation from ancient Hebrew, that means intentional/accidental translation errors were made, a couple of ones being where it states homosexuality is a sin. Where it may have said that "Man shall not lay with man" It was mistakenly translated from the sentence "Man shall not lay with young boy.", referencing pedophilia, and not at all homosexuality. I hope that this made sense and that I didn't make any mistakes! (I apologize if I did, my knowledge of the bible/Christianity is not extensive).
