No, this would imply that armed teachers must sacrifice their lives to defend their students. Only in the military can we possibly require that of our citizens

A. shooting a very rare occurrence and can be easily prevented by good security to prevent someone with a weapon from even entering

B. its far more likely for someone to accidentally get hurt if there are guns in a school
