Yes, congress shouldn't be allowed to control everything financial but how can you trust everyday people to look after the country's money?

We have to know where our money is being spent in contrast to the budget that Congress is in charge of laying out so it is not outside of Congress's power to check its bank statement.

When the federal reserve is not in sight and not monitored then this means that things can go untraced and money may be stolen and shipped under our noses.
