Education › Critical Race Theory in K-12 Education
9>9 Personal answerCritical race theory is generally not taught in K-12 education as it is a graduate level subject. Proposed action against “critical race theory” is generally aimed against discussion of racism in education. So my answer is basically if we are talking about critical race theory as it’s defined in academia this is a nonissue but I absolutely support addressing racism through curriculum created for K-12 students such as the 1619 project. However attempts to “ban” critical race theory tend to be broadly applied so as to censor discussions of race in K-12 education in general so I am opposed to those efforts. |

Science › Mandatory Vaccinations
9>9 Personal answerI think that we should continue to require vaccination for school attendance and employment. I think that requiring vaccination would be a necessary measure during a public health crisis, such as a pandemic or epidemic. |

the Environment › Plastic Product Ban
9>9 Personal answerRather than a blanket ban we should consider the availability of alternatives to current methods of production and the impact that this would have on consumers and marginalized groups. This was an issue with the push to get rid of plastic straws as disabled people , for whom straws were a necessary accessibility aid, were adversely affected as alternatives did not provide the same functionality. |
the Environment › Paris Climate Agreement
9>9 Personal answerNo |
National Security › Foreign Assassination
9>9 Personal answerNo, they should be captured and given a fair trial |
the Economy › China Tariffs
9>9 Personal answerI would need to do more research to answer this question fully. My instinct is no as tariffs tend to lead to retaliation and Trumps protectionist trade policies have contributed to the continual supply chain issues since the beginning of the pandemic. |
Foreign Policy › NSA Surveillance
