Here are your answers compared to this voter’s answers.
Healthcare › COVID Mask Mandate
8>8 Personal answerNo, they should educate people on the true filter efficiency of the variety of masks. Healthy people that are not putting high-risk individuals at risk should also be allowed to continue their lives; there is no reason as to why riots and "mostly peaceful" protests should be allowed, but funerals and visiting your loved ones on their death bed is not. |
Social › Abortion
8>8 Personal answerPro-life, but allow in cases of rape, incest, or danger to the mother or child |
Domestic Policy › Gun Control
8>8 Personal answerYes, require strict background checks, psychological testing, and training |
Social › Planned Parenthood Funding
8>8 Personal answerYes, but not for abortions unless it is life-threatening situations, rape, etc. It is beneficial because they can save lives through cancer screening, prenatal services, and adoption referrals. |
the Economy › Minimum Wage
8>8 Personal answerThe minimum wage was started to put a limit on how low to pay the young workers. In todays time, more and more single parents, senior citizens, and college students are working skilled jobs at minimum wage rates. Instead of raising minimum wage, we should reclassify what a minimum wage job is. Furthermore, we should establish minimum wage rates for different age groups, and have a tier system that classifies each job in tiers. Each tier's minimum rage should go up to the last tiers highest wage. Having 3-4 tiers in each age group would reduce the number of people at or under the poverty line, it will create better workers, and allow for less turn over. It will also reduce the number of unemployed workers. Jobs such as fast food, retail, gas station attendants etc, would be worked mainly by high school and college students, leaving more skilled jobs for working adults. |
Domestic Policy › Armed Teachers
8>8 Personal answerNo, this would increase the risk of accidental shootings |
the Environment › Climate Change
8>8 Personal answerThrough out history the world has gone through climate change quite a few times. Our natural landscape( trees, bushes, flowers ) which thrives on carbon dioxide and expels is being destroyed at a rapid pace. People within EPA and other corporations are not held accountable to the degree that they should and get away with very small fines and a slap on the wrist. |
the Economy › Taxes
8>8 Personal answerLower the income tax rate and remove all existing tax loopholes for large corporations |
Education › Student Loans
8>8 Personal answer-No, but we should still reduce interest rates for student loans. Students shouldn’t be penalized by the banks for being new adults in the world and just try to get their education. and , again, the rich should not be taxed more just because they make more money than other people. |
Education › Free College for All
8>8 Personal answerNo, but provide lower interest rates for student loans |
Social › Government Mandates
8>8 Personal answerYes, since abstinence teaching does not work, it is better to teach and protect citizens about a subject than to forbid it |
Science › Mandatory Vaccinations
8>8 Personal answerYes, but only for deadly contagious diseases and let parents have a say in when vaccines are given and how many at a time. |
Healthcare › Medicaid
8>8 Personal answerI am not informed enough to form a full opinion. |
Immigration › Immigration Healthcare
8>8 Personal answerYes, if they pay taxes |
Elections › Voter Fraud
8>8 Personal answerYes, but guarantee everyone gets ID and register citizens when they turn 18 |
Immigration › Border Wall
8>8 Personal answerYes, but only if it will put great limits on human trafficking and coyotes using young children to cross over. -Latino point of view |
Crime › Defunding the Police
8>8 Personal answerNo, increase funding and training for police departments in higher crime rate communities |
Domestic Policy › Gun Liability
8>8 Personal answerNo; explain to me again how I'm allowed to sue an automotive manufacturer for a vehicle collision, & how I can sue a beer company for a bar fight. If I buy a car and crash it into someone can the victim sue the car dealer & manufacturer? |
Elections › Right of Foreigners to Vote
8>8 Personal answerYes, as long as they have experienced American life/politics for at least one presidential term (4 years), and they are motivated (on the path) to become American citizens. |
Crime › Mandatory minimum prison sentences
8>8 Personal answerNo unless a violent crime is committed and if so punitive measures should be related to the violent crime and not drug possession |
the Economy › Universal Basic Income
8>8 Personal answerNo, this will encourage people not to work and harm economic growth |
the Environment › Oil Drilling
8>8 Personal answerYes, but companies must be held to the highest safety standards and punished harshly when they do not adhere, and foot all costs when there is a spill. |
Immigration › In-State Tuition
8>8 Personal answerYes, as long as taxes are being paid; constant participation in our economy should automatically grant illegal immigrants the opportunity to achieve citizenship or even dual citizenship. |
Healthcare › Obamacare
8>8 Personal answerI do not know too much about this subject |
Elections › Electoral College
8>8 Personal answerNo, but make it so citizen votes have a bigger impact |
Foreign Policy › Military Spending
8>8 Personal answerWe should only increase fundings during wartime, but fund enough to stay prepared at all times. |
Science › Nuclear Energy
8>8 Personal answerFunding research into nuclear energy is important, it's efficient but incredibly risky, we must research to find a way to use it that's less dangerous |
Science › GMO Labels
8>8 Personal answerYes, but I would prefer to ban GMOs |
Education › Universal Pre-K
8>8 Personal answerNo, but subsidize it for low-income families. |
Transportation › Public Transportation
8>8 Personal answerNo, I am satisfied with the current amount of spending |
Crime › Criminal Voting Rights
8>8 Personal answerYes, only after completing their sentences and parole/probation and base on individual review. |
National Security › Military Congressional Approval
8>8 Personal answerYes, only if lives are at stake, not for individual benefit; otherwise, congress should approve of attack operations so the individual benefit cannot occur. |
the Environment › Paris Climate Agreement
8>8 Personal answerYes but put in place environmental protection policies that are still tough |
Foreign Policy › Terrorism
8>8 Personal answerNot constitutional rights necessarily but human rights should be respected, internationally agreed upon |
National Security › Foreign Assassination
8>8 Personal answerNo, capture, interrogate, and imprison them instead |
