“No. National Parks should be operated by the states in which they reside. There in no reason for the federal Government to own the land be involved in their operation. However, access to parks should be open to all since they are supported by tax dollars paid by all taxpayers. The states should set rules for their care and preservation. The states, counties, and cities should own the federal lands within their borders and be able to buy or sell such lands without interference from the federal Government. Except for Military bases and a few other instances like Federal buildings or operations, there is no reason for the federal government to own vast amounts of a state. States should be able to sell, or use and maintain lands within their own borders.”
