Should the federal government fund stem cell research?

I agree with stem cell research but feel that strong restrictions must be placed against using cells from voluntarily aborted fetuses out of concern that fetuses could develop a "market value". Mothers should be allowed to donate their cord cells or those of miscarried babies.
