Immigrants shouldn't have to apply because many are in bad situations and by the time someone finally looks at there application they could be gone.

I believe their should be more options given to them because we have to keep in mind that not every immigrant has all the time in the world or may go trough struggles already, not trying to make it seem that they should be more sensitive just because it's hard for them, but there should be faster and less time consuming options and within reason from the immigrants.

I think there just needs to be a better and faster system for immigrants because for some the process is much harder because of their situation. You also never know what can happen if you do apply.

I would say if they're living in the U.S. they should be allowed citizenship if they've been living there for at least 15 years

Not everybody has the resources to formally apply some people don't even have the chances to apply and if they do have the chance they get the cold shoulder.

I think the wall is the best counter argument. I honestly think the wall isn't really that necessary, yes I understand for the safety of our country, but there are a lot of good Hispanic people that deserve to just have a happy life. Even though America isn't that great, it's nice to them.

Children of illegal immigrants may lack the necessary documentation required to gain citizenship legally through the formal application process. They are ultimately, inevitably, and unfairly disadvantaged. Every person regardless of their race should have an equal opportunity, especially those who have suffered enough already.

I disagree because that shouldn't matter. They came to the US for a better life and harassing people and saying this is not making their life better. These are also the people that have done most of the building the US and have done more to this country than the american citizens here.

I feel like if an immigrant has been living in the States for a several amount of time and lives the average citizen life without any sort of criminal record, I don't think it a necessary to deport them. United States has standards and if a human being is living up the those, then I do not see why they should not continue to live here.

When some people formally apply, their circumstances would not allow them to stay in America when they are already contributing members of society. They also run the risk of being deported if their application is not accepted.

In the constitution, it is also stated that everyone is equal meaning they have to go through the same process if they want something.

Some of the immigrants are in immediate danger and need refuge immediately. They don't have the time to go through the decades long registration process.

They are not given the chance just because they're trying to get a better life in this country they are looked down on. A lot of them are good people with good intentions

I understand that they need to apply just like every other citizen. Immigrants can not get special treatment just because they are immigrants. The problem is the fact that immigrants are more overlooked for medical because they are immigrants. Just like they shouldn't get special treatment because they are immigrants means they shouldn't get overlooked for being an immanent either.

immigrants are unique and diverse they are not just one race nor are they one nationality and thus will naturally not know or integrate to the US entirely and many of which are old people some with the age of you grandmother or even great-grandmother as an example and as research has shown the older you get the slower and harder it is to learn something new a new concept.

No all children from illegal immigrants shall apply like a new citizen because illegal immigrants believe they can earn citizenship though their child.

I mean they should, but the process takes way too long. In the waiting time, a person could have the next 4 generations of their familied.

Not everyone needs to formally apply and if they do they should fasten the process and not make it as long as it is.
