ICE wants to start distributing ID cards to illegals this summer.

More evidence of Biden trying to make illegal legal.

Only it isn't evidence of that at all.

"it is important to note the secure card will not be an official form of federal identification,” ICE told Fox News.

It is a card used for keeping information up to date on migrants working their way through the legal processes such as the 5 year asylum hearing backlog that you voted against improving.

And the normal everyday citizen is going to recognize this as normal state ID. You realize that, right?

No they won't, since it looks nothing like a state ID and says "ICE Secure Docket Card" at the very top of it.

This is an id card useful ONLY to the Federal government in managing people in deportation hearings.

Implying it is some sinister benefit being given to "illegals" is just yellow journalism.

If they were removed instead of entertaining frivolous claims, there would be no need for these awaiting removal ids.

Many never pass even the first interview and are sent back immediately. Others are kept in detention while awaiting a hearing.

If you wanted to back more resources to allow quicker deportations, I could support that.

That was part of what House Republicans rejected.

1.7 million people who had their day in court and were ordered removed have not been removed. Fiscal 2023 was around 140k removals. That is less than 10% of just that number alone. Your mention of the process, everybody, remove no one bill proves you are disingenuous.
