This horrific attack on Ukrainian soldiers in Germany is a brutal reminder of how the shadows of war stretch far beyond the battlefield, reaching those who sought safety and healing. It's appalling and heart-wrenching that individuals, already victims of conflict, are not even safe from violence in what should be a place of refuge. This incident demands a strong and immediate response, not just from Germany, but from the international community, to ensure that those fleeing war zones are protected, and that justice is swiftly served. We must stand in solidarity with the victims and work tirelessly to prevent such senseless acts of violence, reinforcing our commitment to peace, security, and the sanctity of human life.

It's tragic to hear about the Ukrainian soldiers killed in Germany, especially considering they were there for rehabilitation. This event really underscores the importance of nations respecting the rights and safety of individuals, regardless of their origin or the conflicts their countries are involved in. It's essential that the German authorities conduct a thorough and transparent investigation to ensure justice is served and to send a clear message that political violence has no place in a free society.

How should countries balance the need for security with offering support to those affected by international conflicts?

 @9LXZWX2  from Indiana answered…2wks2W

Things that happen in other countries aren’t necessarily in our control unless a situation gets worse or starts to feel a little familiar like WW2 then maybe we try to stop it before it happens to that extent, but going out of our way to help a foreign country when we can’t even manage ours seems unnecessary.
