I would not be at ease with the idea of today's natural beauty being lost since we are damaging the very world we live upon and replacing it for materialistic gain. It also offends me that these locations could be lost and replaced with facsimiles of their true state, such as artificial parks with fake grass and plastic trees.
The amazon rainforest has lost many hectares, almost half the size of Arizona. Which deeply affects the oxygen that is produced in the world as well.
