Why do you think some people struggle to understand the concept of 'white privilege' and how would you explain it?
@9KDWFWS3mos3MO
It is difficult to tell a poor white person, that he/she is priviliged if that person lives in a tent and has to beg for food. He/she feels anything but priviliged, so trying to explain why "white-privilege" is a thing, will be challenging and a bit condescending. It is however plausible, that centuries of racism will not be wiped out in five or even ten years and legislation is only a part of that process. It might be a good start to work on semantics and call a criminal a criminal and not "a young black man".

black and white people have the same opportunities in the us, no one has an advantage because of their skin color.
