The issue in this post-truth world is, that we can hardly agree on reality, let alone political issues. Therefore, one will always find it difficult (impossible even) to debate with people with radically opposed views. And as long as we cannot agree on basic reality, this gap will not be bridged.

Political pluralism would allow for many different parties to work in unison toward a common good, rather than have one party rule indiscriminately. This would be beneficial for all people of across the political spectrum, because it would allow standpoints from each representative to be considered and have more weight than if only one was in office.
