But what we've seen is that on Oct 7th, Iran-backed Hamas launched a large, surprise unprovoked massacre of Israeli civilians. Then Iran-backed Hizbollah began launching rockets into northern Israel. Then the Iran-backed Houthis began attacking civilian ships from various countries with missiles, rockets and drones. They also attacked the US navy. Plus US bases in Iraq and Syria came under attack from Iran-backed militias. Now Iran has launched missile attacks on targets in Syria, Iraq and Pakistan within 48 hours of each. Meanwhile Iranian enrichment of uranium has reached near weapons grade and Iran has blocked inspections from international bodies. Taken together, are these the actions of a power keen to avoid war? Iran's government seems more violently reckless by the day.

These Iranian attacks come out of panic, since their Hamas adventure has ended in complete disaster, and now their Houthi adventure moves in the same direction.

Of course peace could explode if the USA forced Israel to stop the massacres. So easy. Would be nice, for just once, for the USA to be rational and respect human rights. Alas, the USA just kills and destroys.

People are acting like these "Iranian attacks" are something new and dangerous. Or, at least, that's the narrative the warmongering mainstream media has indoctrinated Americans with. But what's the TRUTH? Here it is – these attacks have been going on FOR DECADES, ceaselessly, EVERY SINGLE YEAR, there have been attacks as bad or WORSE than the one that CNN and Fox showed us. What's "violently reckless" is the fact that we have hundreds of military bases in sovereign and independent countries (that are hostile to us) and are populating them with innocent Americans, waiting for these troops to get blasted to bits so the neocons have an excuse to start another WAR, so they can enrich their military-industrial complex donors and further their own imperial fantasies and increase their power over our lives.
