I personally do not want to partake in protests physically and in the real world, due to the harm that could occur for me, other protestors, police trying to keep the area calm and safe, and any possible civilians.

It is fair to be afraid of police violence but the means for change can only meaningfully be achieved through protest, boycotts, and other methods designed to target the system keeping people oppressed
