Can you think of a creative initiative that might incentivize companies to adopt more ethical practices?

 @9L7HT9J from Arizona answered…1mo1MO

Yes, Capitalism can exists and be moral. Sometimes the powerful will abuse their power but Capitalism gives the people the right to choose moral companies

 @9L7HQ9HSocialist from Arizona answered…1mo1MO

Capitalism is inherently anti-human and incentives to work within the system will not correct the issues.

 @9L7KPBX from Maryland answered…1mo1MO

Companies should have the right to pay employees more than minimum wage. I believe the minimum age is unfair. All companies should have their pay scale to accommodate the inflation that we face today and over the years that have passed and to come. The world would be a safer place to live, and crime would go down tremendously.

Imagine you are advising a friend on ethical spending; what would be your top suggestion for making a positive impact?

 @9LFR2LR from California answered…1mo1MO

I would suggest to him to spend his money on what he wants .

 @9LKV89P from Texas disagreed…4wks4W

I would tell him to spend wisely just until he has what he mainly needs and is stable then feel free to spend your money.

To support other businesses and contribute to them. Also to have a fair relationship with each other's businesses for both of them to get positive benefits in their business or life.

Would you work for a company with high pay but poor ethics, or would you choose less pay at a more ethical company?

 @9HFNCP7 from California answered…5mos5MO

Depends on the type of job because normally I would choose better pay but if it's a bad job then I'd pick better ethics

 @9HFNGQD from Idaho answered…5mos5MO

 @9HFNKVJanswered…5mos5MO

I don't know. I'm not quite sure of the difference, but I think I would rather work for a higher-paying job and leave sooner because I'd never need to go back.

 @9HFP5LZSocialist from Ohio answered…5mos5MO

Depends on how much the pay is, id rather less pay at an ethical company than a little more at an unethical one

What does 'being responsible' mean to you in the context of running a company?

 @9HFG2SR from Texas commented…5mos5MO

being responsible mean to me running a company means being hard working and make sure everything is organized.

 @9HFMZ7YRepublican from Pennsylvania answered…5mos5MO

Make sure everything is running the way it is supposed to be if you're running the company working your *** off past what everyone else is working, make sure everything is up to date, and make sure your employee's complaints are looked into and taken into consideration

 @9HFKTPH from New Hampshire answered…5mos5MO

being responsible in the context of running a company means that none of the underaged laborers die a horrible, tragic death at the hands of a cotton gin.

How would you feel if the sneakers you wear became a symbol of positive change in the world?

 @9JP6M65 from Delaware answered…3mos3MO

Capitalism is inherently evil, and although it would be better than the current system it is undeniable that capitalism as a system is designed to exploit people and increase profits. Private ownership of the means of production is almost guaranteed to be tainted by the greed of humanity. Capitalism does not allow for the dignity of all humans as long as they are being exploited for their labor.

  @Patriot-#1776Constitution from Washington disagreed…3mos3MO

Capitalism has lifted billions of people out of poverty worldwide and built entire civilisations. It maximises the independence and dignity of every individual, and respects his God-given rights. Human beings have found far more dignity as employees of corporations than as serfs in primitive slave states or pawns of far-left radicals in socialist societies.

 @9JP5ZX2Democrat from Texas answered…3mos3MO

I would continue to wear them. Even if it was not in support of the symbol, I would just because I like the shoes.

 @9JPWSWK from Illinois answered…3mos3MO

I believe humanistic capitalism is a somewhat effective system that can benefit both ways, but in practice, I believe it may not be 100% effective, occasionally not being in favor of business and capitalism.

Is it fair to expect businesses to solve social problems, or is that the role of government and nonprofits?

 @9HFGJRJ from Texas commented…5mos5MO

no because buisnesses have no reasoning to be involved in every social issue but in todays world they tend to be dragged in to the economic side of issues

 @9HFMV4XIndependent from Idaho answered…5mos5MO

Nonprofits should provide support but ultimately it is up to the people to decide what business and brands align with their views

How should society reward companies that prioritize human well-being and ethical behavior?

 @9HFMMGD from California answered…5mos5MO

Society should reward supporters by giving them a special reward(maybe a framed honor award) or a friendly welcome to a certain group.

 @9HFMWDJ from California answered…5mos5MO

Society shouldn't reward these companies for this it should be a common practice to prioritize peoples well being regardless of reward.
