How might the celebration of your birthday or personal milestones differ in a community centered around religious customs?

 @9JP5PTVLibertarian from Ohio answered…3mos3MO

I don't celebrate an awful lot, it's just getting older for me, but for others they may see it as a celebration of life and the anniversary of a soul reborn, it could also differ greatly between religions.

 @9JP9YDC from Nebraska agreed…3mos3MO

People of different religions might support different things, I don't care that much about holidays other than getting to spend time with those you love.

 @9JP5GHManswered…3mos3MO

Some religions have specific things for birthdays and some just do not

 @9JP64ZPWomen’s Equality from Washington agreed…3mos3MO

Different people have different beliefs depending on their experiences, background, and environment.

 @9JP5HBQ from Alabama answered…3mos3MO

It's more about focusing on God, who gave life to all things, than the celebration of the individual.

If your career or education were directly influenced by religious leaders, how would it change your future aspirations?

 @9KCJKJSanswered…2mos2MO

I think that if you grow up around a group of leaders who believe the same thing you tend to think it's the right way to think. So it could go towards any future wishes with those certain beliefs because you learn that way and grow up thinking that way. It could restrain you from stepping out of your box and going towards something that could be better for an individual.

 @9KCHQ24 from Missouri answered…2mos2MO

It would change my career probably a lot due to more morals that are involved in religion. I might not even want to continue my path to that career if it was influenced by religion

 @9KCHKR6 from Oklahoma answered…2mos2MO

Depends on if that religion believes in the use of technology as someone who would like to become a software designer.

 @9KCGYNN from Florida answered…2mos2MO

It would depend on the religion, as I want to do something with art, but certain religions may require women to stay at home and care for children rather than work.

Can you envision a world where romantic relationships follow guidelines set by religious leaders, and how would that affect you?

 @9L8XX54answered…1mo1MO

It could lead the world into a better path since there would be less crime and better morals.

 @9L9KNCFWomen’s Equality from Connecticut disagreed…1mo1MO

Each relationship would be almost the same just with different people, there wouldn't be much room to explore in the relationship and take risks.

 @9L8Y25D from North Carolina answered…1mo1MO

No, the world isn't perfect and no one should have to follow these. I will follow what I believe is right, and do what I want to do.

 @9L8XXX6Independent from Pennsylvania answered…1mo1MO

Yes, that world will be chaotic because regulations are being set by religious groups.

What would an ideal holiday season look like to you if public celebrations were based on religious customs?

 @9J685KF from Louisiana answered…4mos4MO

Christmas celebration without involving religion to respect those who may not be religious

 @9J77977Peace and Freedom from Minnesota agreed…4mos4MO

Whether your traditions are based on religion, culture, or specific family activities, they are a really important part of holiday celebrations.

 @9J6CRBQWomen’s Equality from California answered…4mos4MO

An ideal traditional holiday would seem to be very obsolete for me since I live a conservative lifestyle.

 @9HGWV6F from Indiana answered…5mos5MO

What the **** ? no, obviously, why would i, an atheist, want my healthcare decisions influenced by your delusions?!

 @9HGST7G from New York commented…5mos5MO

I would not be comfortable because other people's beliefs would be governing what I can and can't do with my body.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…5mos5MO

If religious leaders policed morality, how would that influence your notion of right and wrong?

 @9HDVVZH from Michigan answered…5mos5MO

I think religion should be apart from the goverment because everyone has their own views on it and if you dont agree what they do it starts to create conflict.

If reproductive and relationship education were steered by religious teachings, how well equipped do you think you would be?

 @9LGYNCSanswered…4wks4W

I don't think religious teachings should be mandatory, everyone has a right to if they want a religion or not.

 @9LGYM98answered…4wks4W

I think I would not be well equipped, since education in school etc. should be dealt more with science, than religious teachings.

How might the integration of religious rules in business ethics affect your decisions as a consumer or entrepreneur?

 @9L5P667 from Pennsylvania answered…1mo1MO

The integration of religious rules may sway my opinion in the business ethics and my decisions as a consumer. Religious rules may not apply to me and I may not feel as if I have to follow them. I am religious myself so I would prolly be able to abide by these rules depending on what they are. Depending on if I agree or disagree with following these religious rules will determine which way my opinion sways.

 @9L5DTRJ from California answered…1mo1MO

Personally, it would not affect me because I am a Christian myself so I know that religion is important to me and important to others so if they chose to portray that, that is their right.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…4mos4MO
