I do not believe that we should teach children that they are inherently bad people or that they are inherently disadvantaged based on the color of their skin. I believe that it is important to address racial issues with children who are growing up in a complex world, but overall I think that it is better for children to understand that the color of their skin does not make them any different to one another- that they are all human and all deserve the same love and the same opportunities.
