There’s also the idea of tunneling. The wall is expensive and there’s nothing saying Mexico has to pay for it. I think we should be picky about who we let in these people are wanting to immigrate to our home because they’re probably fleeing theirs. The reasons for the exodus can range from poverty, war, drugs, disease, crime the list is extensive, long, and multifaceted. We can’t let these issues follow the immigrants into the country. We have our own problems to solve. That leaves us with, in my opinion, two really viable options building a high tech (price tag dependent) surveillance barrier or increasing a military presence to patrol the southern border. I’m more for a surveillance barrier.
