The business may deny specific requests on grounds of conflict with the owner’s beliefs but should not refuse to associate with any individual altogether based on attributes of that individual’s identity that are irrelevant to the specific business transaction. The business should provide to any well-behaved customer the opportunity to purchase the same goods and services that it offers to the general public.
