What... You realise most don't lose their virginity until 17/18, & hormones can really mess up some women's mental state... If you are instead including things like condoms etc, than I'm not sure how you would mandate/enforce that rule... But yes, obviously the importance of safe sex should be emphasised...
I'm a 30 year old female (in a sexually active committed relationship), & I have never used birth control pills (nor been pregnant) in my life, & like many women I don't feel comfortable playing with my natural hormones... & I'm not sure how you would enforce condom-use? (I personally think many would benefit from the FAM being taught in schools, but that's a personal preference)
The abortion pill (which I believe can be taken for pregnancies up to 7 weeks), seems to not be that dissimilar to birth control pills... So I'm not sure how someone can be pro one & anti the other?
I can understand the argument for late-stage abortions... But for ones caught/terminated early (with the pill etc), shouldn't the woman have autonomy over her own life/body... Forcing someone to bring unwanted children into this world is just asking for trouble... Some may not be mentally equipped to go through the grewling process of child birth for adoption... But many would also find that process traumatic/life-altering in a way that may result in suicide or taking on self-harming behaviour... (Dissociation is a growing mental issue as our reliance on screens/technology increases)
Every baby born deserves to feel loved/wanted by their parents... Yes some parents are unable to have children, so it helps them when people do choose to adopt-out... But that process is only for the healthy & mentally strong/stable, who ideally have a solid support network, & are able to put their life on hold for at least a period of time... That should be a personal choice.
Fear can be life threatening... This should very much be a personal matter if handled quickly/with care ❤
