No, instead, we should try to make it less expensive to try and become a citizen, due to most Mexicans (that are not drug traffickers) being extremely poor (which is the entire reason they want to move to the US) and most likely can't pay to get in legally, so they try to get in illegally so they can get enough money, but they are already in and they would be deported if they said they got in illegally so they can't become a legal citizen. Decreasing how much it costs to become a citizen would help us root out those trying to get in illegally for illegal reasons and those getting in illegally out of desperation.
