Obviously, the person who's elected and their choices will affect the criminal if they're incarcerated or not but I think it depends on the crime. Then again, I don't want to discriminate and pick and chose who can vote and who can't. But at some point, a crime is so horrendous that the person who committed it is truly not a person because no "normal" person would do that.
