the land is rightfully Palestine's, the us should stop giving money to other countries, especially oppressive ones

The United States currently has millions of children living in hunger, people with hundreds of thousands of dollars in student loans purely because they wanted to better themselves, and most people are one medical issue away from homelessness. We have so many issues to fix at home before helping another country further displace and promote violence on Palestinians. Free Palestine!

While it's undeniable that there are significant domestic issues to address, foreign policy isn't a zero-sum game. The U.S. can and should work on improving domestic issues while maintaining strategic alliances abroad. For instance, Israel is a key partner in intelligence sharing, counterterrorism, and a valuable ally in a volatile region. Its strategic position and technological advancements serve the U.S.'s interests. Also, to address your concern about violence and displacement, continued engagement can allow the U.S. to exert positive influence over Israel's policies towards Palestinians. How do you propose the U.S. should balance its domestic and foreign responsibilities?

We need to stay out of the Palestine/Israel conflict--we do not need an embassy there and these countries need to figure out their own problems without US interference, US needs to stay in its lane and solve the problems on home soil

It is none of our business, we have only been a camcer to the situation and israel commits acts of violence against innocent people while we stand by and watch

Jerusalem is and has always been a shared city. By moving embassies to Jerusalem, it solidifies Israel's claims over the city, which many would argue was and is still used to terrorize not only Palestinians, but other minority groups within it's borders. Let us not forget that Israel has not been punished for military actions against the United States, which resulted in loss of life. Israel is not an ally. They are not even a legitimate state.

Acknowledgement of Israel's position in Jerusalem will alienate possible agreements with Middle Eastern states and give Israel a blank cheque to continue the genocide of Palestenians.

No, innocent people are being evicted from their homes, increasing funding for an embassy only makes it worse
