The Confederate Flag represents the entire of the Confederacy. Including all of their treason and crimes against humanity.

The Confederate Flag is a symbol of the Confederacy, an inherently racist "nation" that lasted for four years. The Confederate Flag was used when the South receded from the United States of America, and chose to continue the legalization and use of slavery as a form of production and labor within companies. The Confederate Flag should only be shown within the government in education to educate those unaware of it's symbolism in the history of slavery within the United States of America.

To all the enslaved people and their ancestors, it is a symbol of trauma and death for their people.

I don't know. My ancestors were not enslaved to my knowledge so therefore if they were it clearly is not too traumatic, at least for me.

If you feel the need to support Rebellion in the first place the American Flag itself is a symbol of more successful and more meaningful Rebellion

Although this may be true in some context, the main ideal of those who believed in Confederacy and flew the Confederate Flag was to keep African Americans in the farm land to work and be their slaves.

The Civil War was fought to support slavery and when the Confederate Flag was used after, it was used as a symbol of terror against Black people

 @9FLC9NJ from Massachusetts disagreed…7mos7MO

Most people don't view it that way, and instead view it as a symbol of hate, so that's what it becomes.

 @9GVCSPF from California disagreed…6mos6MO

It also symbolizes the hatred there is towards African American people. The people who created the confederate flag were rebelling against the freedom of slaves. They were not fighting for their freedom rather against it.

Confederate flag has been used as a symbol for slavery for a long time therefore should not be legal.

A rebellion implies intent. For what intent was the Confederacy's rebellion? To protect the institution of slavery, of which the South relied on economically. It was a rebellion motivated by racism.
