The government should not have any say in the matter.
@8V5CQJW3yrs3Y
yes to prevent wild fires
@8TXQ27C3yrs3Y
No, Ban logging of old growth forests
@8TV3CYQ3yrs3Y
No, invest in more sustainable and quicker resources like bamboo and other materials
@8TF3NMY3yrs3Y
If done very selectively and with a plan for regrowth, then yes, and do it away from areas tourists access and away from areas in which scientists operate.
@8T9CXXH3yrs3Y
Yes, but only selective logging and no clear cutting. Alongside having plans for re-growth, I think that these logging companies should also have a cap on how much trees they are allowed to take from these forests (and it being much lesser to that of other ones) to help deter as many from taking trees as possible.
@Yvoke4yrs4Y
Yes, but only selective logging. Although, we should also focus on allowing controlled burning as well. Excessive preservation of our forests leads to overgrowth, causing forest fires to exponentially worsen in terms of heat, the size of the fire, and how quickly in spreads. Controlled burning will not only prevent such things, but it’ll also renew soil mineral layers to increase seedling vitality, and to open tree cones to disperse seeds.

Yes, but set enough aside for National Parks that we remember what they were.
