Yes. Hard working people should not be taxed for their hardworking while having to pay to brokies that are to lazy to work.

 @9BVY2FC from Texas agreed…11mos11MO

I agree to this 100% it is totally unfair that the rich have to work hard to earn their money and the government not doing the same to the poor! Totally unfair!!!

 @9FBGJV6 from Georgia disagreed…7mos7MO

The rich will keep getting richer the poor will keep getting poorer. Money coming from increased taxes on the rich can be rerouted to public education, transportation, community projects, etc instead of sitting in a rich person's pockets.

 @9FCTP9J from Illinois agreed…6mos6MO

Certain people should not have to pay more because of their amount of money when the constitution states that all people are treated equally.

 @9FC33CHDemocrat from Georgia agreed…7mos7MO

We pay taxes for the up building of Government facilities and mankind. Raising taxes on literally every bracket makes no sense when we already pay enough building sites and all

 @9FW985H from Iowa agreed…6mos6MO

Everyone has the same chance to make money as rich people, why should they get penalized for that by paying more taxes

 @9GGM8HWLibertarianfrom Virgin Islands agreed…5mos5MO

All taxes increases are transferred to the lower or middle class in some manner. The only way to equalize tax is a flat tax rate for everyone with no deductions available.

 @9BVQYNJ from Texas disagreed…11mos11MO

if you want to have taxes you will be a poor beggar wile the rich bastards will be on a pile of there own money and it will keep growing because of the poor being taxed so any dollar that you make will go to the rich so just use your head to think about if the rich gets taxed then the poor get more money so you need to think stupid

I STRONGLY DISAGREE with everything you just said there. And I can't help but wonder where your sources from which you have drawn your information come of, and how reliable you actually are if you didn't even capitalize the first word of your response and forgot the period at the end, and well as lacking all commas and doing nothing hurling crap at those who disagree with you. FIRST OF ALL -- raising taxes on the RICH will HURT THE WORKING CLASS MORE THAN IT WILL HURT THE RICH! Because guess who hires 95 percent of the workers in this world? THE FREAKING RICH! Over $1 trillion is paid in individual income taxes each year. Billionaires pay 23% of their earnings in tax, while other Americans pay 28%.

 @9FV8Y2Q from Idaho agreed…6mos6MO

The raising of taxes makes it harder for businesses to make money. Some people that own businesses will look elsewhere that their needs are being met.

 @9FDFFFM from Texas disagreed…6mos6MO

if we were to allow no position on taxes this would only cause more frustration between the middle class and lower class if the problem at fault was always that the rich using loopholes to avoid taxes,if we incentivize a higher tax on the rich this can be used to further benefit programs aiding the struggling lower class.

 @9GJPHXP from Texas agreed…5mos5MO

The US is in so much debt, that even if you tax the richest billionaires 100% of their income, it would barely make a dent in the debt. Additionally, raising taxes on corporations and the rich technically falls on the poor due to microeconomics, and people wouldn't be rich if they didn't do something to earn that money.

 @9FBDR82 from Indiana disagreed…7mos7MO

Taxing the rich would relief the middle and lower classes of higher taxes and would also eliminate tax loopholes.

 @9F6GXSMfrom Guam disagreed…7mos7MO

In the richest country on Earth, it is mind boggling that there are so many rich individuals while many still live in poverty. Raising taxes on the rich to help the poor is the logical thing to do. Additionally, these taxes collected from the rich can be used to help increase standards of living which eventually leads to a more productive workforce. It’s a win-win situation.

 @9FTPWV9 from Pennsylvania agreed…6mos6MO

If the rich is taxed more to provide for you, then why would you work? That is exactly what would happen if the plan goes through. It also could backfire and decrease the value of the country because of the tax money not being used.

 @9FBLCF4 from California disagreed…7mos7MO

Yes the government should raise taxes on the rich since they are the ones who profit the most and pay the least for taxes and also are able to gain benefits from taxing and able to save more money.

 @9FBJ3CQ from Washington disagreed…7mos7MO

The government should raise taxes on the rich, because taxing the rich would help put more money back into our economy and allow for growth in new areas.

 @9F9W8BXRepublican from Illinois disagreed…7mos7MO

I absolutely think that they should be taxed more, itll balance the taxes for everyone if its based off the % you make annually.

 @9F8BPK3 from Florida agreed…7mos7MO

 @9F846D4 from California agreed…7mos7MO

Raising taxes wouldn't do anything to help California. People would continue to move out of state. thehill.com backs these statements

 @9GN7LFL from Ohio agreed…5mos5MO

Billionaire fortunes are increasing by $2.7 billion a day even as at least 1.7 billion workers now live in countries where inflation is outpacing wages. A tax of up to 5 percent on the world's multi-millionaires and billionaires could raise $1.7 trillion a year, enough to lift 2 billion people out of poverty.

I don't like the idea of taxes rising but COVID wasn't something we could prevent quickly nor could we calculate the unemployment scale or deaths afterwards.

 @9F8VG5V from California disagreed…7mos7MO

The taxes on the low/middle class are much more to handle than the rich have to which is why we need to raise taxes on the rich because

 @9F66YZ8 from New York disagreed…7mos7MO

The marginal benefit of tax spending on low income/wealth citizens is wildly higher than high income/wealth citizens retaining that money. And it is much easier for a wealthy individual to make money than a poor individiual.

 @9FMKXM2 from Massachusetts agreed…6mos6MO

many owners of many large corporations were also middle class or lower. It seems to be more of a punishment for the rich for them to be taxed for the money they dedicated their lives to.
