if a condom is $2.00 at a gas station to prevent getting a woman pregnant, why can't women have the same privilege with low-priced or no-price birth control that does the same matter?

Access to free birth control can help prevent the need for abortions, prevent the contractions of STIs, and help educate the American public on safe sex practices.

Debilitating children with special need of healthcare and basically putting their health on the line.

Birth control is just another form of medication. It’s used for more than just contraceptives too. It’s used for hormone balance. How are you going to be pro life and also not want to give the right resources to prevent pregnancy.

saying no is completly unethical for those in strict positions where they are unable to afford birth control.

 @9F8RTTCDemocrat from New York disagreed…7mos7MO

Women who cannot afford birth control are expected to just be abstinence but men have no regulation on what they do. Offering free birth control would lower the rate of abortion and overall help women healthcare.

Offering free birth control to the public would heavily increase cash waste as more and more would need to be produced, it also doesn't guarantee that the ones given out will be used.

Limits to federal government power were set for a very good reason, and in hindsight have proven to be extremely prescient. In the long term, government will abuse every power it is given and more power will result in more harm than good.

The US government overturned Roe V Wade therefore the only way a woman can protect herself from getting pregnant from rape or any other situation is birth control this will help with population control and help relax women so they know they are protected. Pregnancy is a choice.

People have the freedom to have their justified suspicions and should not have their reasoning silenced due to a majority decision. The government should appease all.

I belive that birth control should a free addon to their insurance, they pay for it to cover any expenses they need, so if birth control is one of those it should be free. They should not have to pay to not have a child, that is an unfair thing to force someone to pay for.

People who often (but not always) disagree with abortions are the same people who don't want free birth control to be offered. Free birth control and better sex education would cut down on the woman who have to have abortions which aids people who are pro life. Free birth control would also help men as well because they wouldn't be responsible for paying child support with children they didn't plan for. Free birth control would also help prevent children living in poverty. Women/families who are in poverty often don't get access to sex education which increases the chance of them having unplanned/unwanted pregnancies.

If a young woman gets forced to have intercourse with someone and gets pregnant, then she is forced to spend money that she might not even have to prevent the pregnancy. In addition, birth control can help prevent the need for abortions, as well as prevent a rape victim from having to have an abortion. For people who are pro-life, how are you going to say that babies in the womb are still people, but yet disown that same child if they go against what you believe in. It makes no sense.

They should because if they want to keep a lot of money they should yet people get free birth control because having a baby is a lot of money.
