No they should not be banned because of what group they identify as, as long as they are not harmful to people. Islam is a religion of peace, it is a certain few who catch more attention that give it a bad reputation.

The screening process could be improved, but it is not weak. Some immigrants need to immigrate to America to keep themselves and their families safe, and they shouldn't be denied that opportunity.

If we refuse the Muslim people because of their culture, religion, or the atrocities of some of their leaders we intrinsically bar freedom from them, and leave them in the clutches of the very same terrorists which have attacked our government.

You are hurting the populations of thousands of people who are trying to make better lives for themselves. Instead of getting rid of immigration for them instead prioritize the screening process but allow many to immigrate while doing so.

There is no true concrete way to prove one is not a terrorist- at least not one coming anytime in the near future. You're banning innocent mothers, fathers, grandparents, children, and all other kinds of relatives from meeting their families, and blocking desperate refugees from seeking shelter, or improving their lives and seeking opportunities in what claims to be a "free country".

It'd be unfair to take away the choice of entering the country for the large majority of people trying to immigrate.

You can't just assume that a Muslim person is a bad person just because of what they believe in. You should let them through no matter what
