If you ban one religion, you set a precedent that you can ban all religions. This is misaligned with The First Amendment of the United States Constitution.

Most immigrants come to america for better job or living oppurtunities. What if a Muslim is coming to America to leave his harsh living standards at home or if there is a war and he is a refugee.

One of the most known terrorist attacks in the country was the 9/11 attack on the Twin Towers and the Pentagon. Even though Al-Qaeda is a Muslim group, the entire Muslim population should not be cast aside and not allowed to enter the country. Anyone from any religion could be a terrorist and there have been many terrorist attacks by groups/people of other religions. Just because 9/11 is very sad yet well-known attack does not mean all Muslims are terrorists.
