When faith influences the law, what happens to those who follow a different faith or no faith at all?

They are discriminated against and held to beliefs of others that do not apply to them. I don't believe any faith should influence a law.

Freedom of religion, and due to that there will be religons that contridits or affect/influence the law.

they are treated with unfairness because of what they believe in and this causes roadblocks in their life.

They are persecuted and discriminated against. It's important for the government to be secular so nobody is treated as unequal.

I think that even if people follow a different faith they can still be respected within the country.

They can carry on with their faith so long as they put aside some beliefs to live in the U.S.
